Vegetables recipe - Stir-Fried Kailan

As I am growing up, my mum always told me over and over again that vegetables are good for me.  I don't really fond of vegetables when I was a kid.  I found it not tasty and it's so greeeennnn....

But now, I will make sure there always be vegetables in my menu.  I can't deny the facts that vegetables are naturally low in energy, fat, and salt.  So, today I am going to share with you my very simple vegetable recipes - Stir-Fried Kailan.

Stir-Fried Kailan
Ingredient:
Kailan, slices of chicken breast, ginger & garlic, oysters sauce, vegetables oil, water, corn flour & salt to taste.

Methods:
Stir fried ginger in a pan with a tablespoon of vegetables oil until fragrant, put in chicken and stir a while, then put in the ginger together with the Kailan. Lastly put in the 2 tbs of water that we mixed with oyster sauce and corn flour to make a thicker gravy. Salt to taste but you can skip this because of the oyster sauce.

When kailan change to darker color and the gravy is thicker...then...it's done! Enjoy...

Fried Fish with Salted Black Bean

Fried Fish with Salted Black Bean
Still seaching what to prepare for your Chinese New Year's Eve dinner.  Well, I happen to stop by at the small Chinese Grocery Shop yesterday and bought the salted black bean.  So, I have prepared for my dinner yesterday,  Fried Fish with Salted Black Bean.  This is how I prepare it:

Ingredient:
Slices of fish (mix with a dash of salt and 1/2 tbs corn flour)
Salted Black Bean
Oyster Sauce ( I use vegetarian oyster sauce)
Slices of big & red onion, ginger & garlic,
Cooking Oil, salt and sugar to taste
Water & Corn flour ( for thicken the sauce)
Slices of Red Chili & chinese pastry for garnishing.

Methods:
Deep fried the fish until golden brown, put aside.
Pour in about 1 tbs of cooking oil in a pan, frying the onions until fragrant, then put in the black beans, make sure not to over frying, just enough to smell the fragrant than put in the oyster sauce and 3 tbs of water with corn flour.
Then, Put in the fish when it is about to thicken.
Put in salt & sugar to your taste (can skip this, cause the oyster and black beans have it's taste also)
When It's thicken, it's done... can put in the serving plate and put in garnishing...
Enjoy....
