This is one of a tradisional food and I am brought up to know this kind of food. Little tiny babies prawn packed nicely for sale. I only knew to called it "
Bubuk". Not really sure if I called it right. But, it's a very tradisional type of food. I bought it last Saturday from the Pasar Tani. The only think in my mind was...I am going to make a salad...kerabu....what so ever.
One think that I know it's an appetizer. So, the recipe, this is how I prepared it:
The ingredients:
- Half a pack of the "bubuk"
- Ginger slices
- Shallot slices
- Cili Padi chopped (how many is your choice)
- Lime juice ( I used 6 of it)
- Salt to taste
The Method, just mix all the ingredient. Lime, salt and cili are up to your taste. Mine, less hot cause my children love it too.
Actually, there are my ways of food that we can prepare from this "Bubuk". Yes, "Belacan" will go further in this next post, we also can make Omelette from it and even mix it with Fried Rice. Well, that's all for today.
